I was referred to Myers Repair Service through a friend that had been a long time customer of Myers. I had been using other major plumbing companies around town, but they always seemed to be replacement plumbers not repair plumbers, as my bills were always outrageously priced. Myers’ fast and friendly response team arrived at my house to give me a free estimate, unlike the others that charged as much as seventy five dollars, and to my surprise it was hundreds less than the competitors. Once I had learned that they have been a family owned and operated buisness in the San Antonio and surrounding areas for over thirty years I was a customer for life. I own a small cotracting outfit in the san antonio area and have been thru most of the plumbing companies in town, I have had to deal with other companies way over charging me because they thought I was nieve, or they just would show up to complete the work but on top of their game when it came time to bill my outfit. Thats when I found the myers family, to my surprise they didnt charge me for an estimate for this particular project I was working on. They lived up to and beyond everything they promised, they even help my employees when they were in a jam and needed an extra pair of hands and never mentioned anything about charging me for the extra services. Thanks to their help I completed my project ahead of schedule making me and my company look like heroes. I am a low income family struggling to make it thru these hard times, when out of nowhere I had a pipe burst inside my concrete slab. To my disappointment I called all the major name plumbing companies only to be told that it was going to cost several thousand dollars to repair. Immediately I continued to look for other bids when I came across the Myers Repair Service website, their estimator Damian came out to inspect my problem way after hours on the friday of a holiday weekend, when I asked how much this estimate was going to cost he replied “It’s a holiday, I wont charge you for my time to come look, it’s not like your busted pipe is gonna stop leaking for the holiday weekend.” Upon hearing that I instantly felt good about my descision to call them. Once they gave me my free estimate it was dramatically less than the competition, even with the weekend and overtime rates. They came out to my home the very next day and fixed my busted pipe in time for my relatives to arrive. They even went above and beyond to clean up the major mess associated with the repair. To me that is service and I feel that every buisness should act as professional as the Myers did for me, but unfortunately there are too many fly by night plumbers who just dont care about anything other than the bill. They have gained a customer and a friend, and i have already recommended them to my entire family.
